Our Densification Application Process

1. Surface Preparation: The concrete is cleaned and any existing coatings, sealers, or contaminants are removed. For best results, the concrete should be bare and porous.

2. Light Grinding (Optional): For floors that will also be polished, a light diamond grind opens the concrete pores for maximum densifier penetration.

3. Ashford Formula Application: The densifier is applied by sprayer or roller at the manufacturer's specified rate. It's worked into the surface with a floor machine for even distribution.

4. Dwell Time: The densifier is allowed to penetrate and react for the recommended dwell time. Unlike some products, The Ashford Formula requires minimal washing — the reaction is clean.

5. Remove Excess: Any excess material is removed, and the surface is allowed to dry and cure.

6. Final Buff (Optional): For standalone densification without polishing, a light buff with a white pad improves appearance without adding gloss.
